ABOUT ME

REGISTERED COUNSELLOR / RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
I believe everyone deserves meaningful connections and fulfilling relationships.
People often ask me how I became a counsellor.
The honest answer is, like most of us in this field, it started with my own story.
I’ve known what it’s like to experience relationship loss. To question whether to stay or to go. To experience heartbreak that leaves you wondering who you are now, and what comes next.
Through these experiences, I became deeply interested in what helps people heal and truly connect; not just with others, but with themselves.
Today, I live in a blended family with four teenagers and a golden retriever named Bodhi (also known as the “fifth child”, emotional support extrovert and expert thief of tennis balls and snacks).
Our home is full of noise, laughter, mismatched socks, and lessons in patience. An organised chaos which reminds me to stay humble, and constantly learning about boundaries and humour in relationships. These moments have taught me that relationships - with partners, children, or ourselves, are living, evolving things: beautifully imperfect and deeply human.
My work as a counsellor is rooted in everything I’ve learned personally and professionally - that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and understood.
My Approach
I believe counselling should feel safe, warm, and human.
You don’t have to have all the answers, just the courage to show up. I will walk alongside you, at your pace, helping you to:
Understand your patterns (attachment style)
Regulate your emotions and nervous system
Build more fulfilling connections and relationships
Create healthy boundaries and build confidence and identity
We will explore your internal patterns, but also practice tools for the here and now.
You don’t need to second-guess your worth, bend yourself for others, or stay stuck in negative cycles which leave you drained. You are worthy of love which feels safe.

What Therapy with Me Looks Like
A warm, safe space where your feelings are valid and welcome.
Hope and reassurance that change is possible - step by step, at your pace.
Practical tools to begin shifting old patterns into healthier, more secure ways of connecting.
